Super unnaturaL 2024: An ELECTRIC Halloween Bash to Remember
Body Language’s premiere house music festival, Super Unnatural returned to Scottsdale, Arizona, November 1st and 2nd. Falling on the traditional holiday of the Day of the Dead, Super Unnatural took place over two nights at WestWorld and featured some of the biggest names in house music including headliners Eric Prydz, Chris Lake, Fatboy Slim, Mochakk b2b The Martinez Brothers.
The lineup this year was solid, and the headliners lived up to the hype. Each artist brought something distinct, creating a festival experience that was as varied as it was engaging. If one the artist truly stood out, though, it had to be Chris Lake. Known for his driving beats and crowd-moving house tracks, Chris Lake’s set had a magnetic pull. His stage design matched the vibe perfectly, immersing everyone in the music and the moment.
A personal favorite of mine was Fatboy Slim. His set was a mix of upbeat sounds and quirky twists, showing off his signature humor and unique style. Fatboy Slim brought a playful, almost carefree energy to the festival, making his set feel like a party within a party. It was easy to see how much the crowd was enjoying it; he kept everyone locked in from start to finish
Each headliner, from Eric Prydz’s high-tech visual show to The Martinez Brothers’ infectious energy, contributed to an unforgettable night. Each act added something different, creating a lineup that kept everyone on their feet. The variety in musical styles—from deep, hypnotic techno to upbeat, funky house—kept the crowd dancing and moving all night.
Talking to fans, I learned that many had traveled from other states, and even further, just to see him live. That kind of dedication says a lot about the impact he has on the EDM community, and he absolutely delivered.
With it so close to Halloween, nearly everyone in the crowd embraced the spooky vibe, dressing up in all kinds of creative costumes. Usually, festivals like these have their share of wild, colorful outfits, but this Halloween twist took things up a notch, adding an extra layer of fun and energy to the whole experience. Everywhere I looked, people were vibing in a way that felt unique to this festival.
Ultimately, Super Unnatural was a perfect mix of Halloween spirit and EDM culture. Between the vibrant costumes, the killer lineup, and the memorable performances, this year’s festival captured what makes events like this so special. Super Unnatural brought together people from all backgrounds, creating moments that celebrated the universal language of music. This year’s festival truly embraced both Halloween and the EDM community, making it an experience to remember.
